I'd lay around with her all morning in our underpants sometime in 1986 and watch Saturday morning cartoons. We'd talk at length about what makes Captain N: The Game Master so cool. We'd play Nintendo, eat C3PO's and i'd buy her a Chip N' Pepper t-shirt. I'd take her to see The Goonies, then politely kiss her on the cheek goodnight. I'd whisper in her ear that it was a pleasure to meet her and I hope she had fun. I imagine that somewhere around this point she'd slowly dissolve into thin air a la Back to the Future, and from then on my life would never be the same. I'd tell my friends, none of which would believe me. I'd continue on in my life always wondering if maybe that one, special day was just a dream. And then when the light is about to leave my eyes, i'd hope she'd be there. Waiting for me.
